Federal Communications Commission Extends Freeze on Jurisdictional Separations Rules

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has extended the freeze on jurisdictional separations rules for rate-of-return incumbent local exchange carriers (LECs) for up to six more years, until December 31, 2024, and refers the matter to the Federal-State Joint Board on Jurisdictional Separations for further consideration.
