FCC Adopts Rules for NGSO Fixed-Satellite Service Operations in 17.3-17.8 GHz Band

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted rules to permit the use of the 17.3-17.8 GHz band by non-geostationary satellite orbit (NGSO) space stations operating in the fixed-satellite service (FSS) in the space-to-Earth direction, promoting spectrum efficiency, competition, and U.S. leadership.
