FDA Clears Rimantadine Hydrochloride for Continued Use

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that FLUMADINE (rimantadine hydrochloride) 100mg tablets were not withdrawn from sale due to safety or effectiveness concerns, allowing the agency to continue approving Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) for the product.
