EPA Releases Data on CSAPR Assurance Provisions for 2021 Control Periods

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made available data on the administration of the Cross-State Air Pollution Rule (CSAPR) trading programs for the 2021 control periods, revealing that total emissions of nitrogen oxides (NO X ) in Missouri exceeded the state's assurance level. The EPA will consider objections before making final determinations on additional allowances that must be surrendered.
