EPA Proposes Settlement in Clean Water Act Claim

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking public input on a proposed settlement in a Clean Water Act claim brought by Northwest Environmental Advocates and the Idaho Conservation League against the EPA, following a court ruling that the agency had a mandatory duty to promulgate new criteria for the state after disapproving related water quality standard revisions in 2008.
