Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone on Upper Mississippi River

The US Coast Guard has established a temporary safety zone on the Upper Mississippi River near Cape Girardeau, MO, to protect vessels and personnel from hazards caused by a partially sunken cement barge. The zone, spanning from MM 49 to MM 50, is enforced by the Captain of the Port Sector Ohio Valley.
