CBP Corrects Vessel Repair Duties Rule to Restore Required Documentation

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is correcting a Final Rule published on July 29, 2022, that streamlined vessel repair entry processes by extending the timeframe for vessel operators to provide completed vessel repair entries and apply for relief from duties associated with vessel repairs abroad. The correction restores the required documentation for vessel repair duties, which was inadvertently deleted from the original rule.
