Notice of Intent To Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Proposed Cross-Tie 500-kV Transmission Project

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is planning to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess the potential environmental impacts of the proposed Cross-Tie 500-kV Transmission Project, a 214-mile high-voltage transmission line spanning across Utah and Nevada. The project, led by TransCanyon, LLC, will be analyzed in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
