Assessment of Eligible and Ineligible Lands for Consideration as Wilderness Areas, Valles Caldera National Preserve

The National Park Service has begun evaluating the suitability of lands within Valles Caldera National Preserve for potential inclusion in the national wilderness preservation system, in accordance with the Wilderness Act of 1964 and NPS Management Policies from 2006.
