US Forest Service Requests Withdrawal of 2,841 Acres of National Forest Lands in California
The US Forest Service has submitted an application to the Bureau of Land Management to withdraw 2,841 acres of National Forest System lands in California from mining laws, but not from leasing or disposal, to protect critical habitat for endangered plant species.
