Grand Rapids Public Museum Completes Inventory of Human Remains, Seeks No Transfer to Native American Tribes

The Grand Rapids Public Museum has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, concluding that they are not culturally affiliated with any present-day Native American tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations, and is now open to receiving requests from unrepresented tribes to transfer control of the remains.
