Maine Requests Competitive Interest for Wind Energy Research Lease on Outer Continental Shelf in Gulf of Maine

The State of Maine has proposed a research lease on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) in the Gulf of Maine to conduct wind energy research activities, inviting public input on the proposal and potential commercial leasing of approximately 68,320 acres of land.
