Soybean Producers Can Request a Referendum on the Soybean Promotion and Research Order (SPRO)

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is inviting soybean producers to participate in a voluntary referendum to determine if they want the Secretary to hold a referendum on the Soybean Promotion and Research Order (SPRO), as authorized under the Soybean Promotion, Research, and Consumer Information Act (SPRCIA). If at least 10% of the 413,358 eligible producers participate, a referendum will be held within one year.
