HUD and USDA Finalize Energy Efficiency Standards for New Construction of HUD- and USDA-Financed Housing

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) have finalized the adoption of energy efficiency standards for new construction of HUD- and USDA-financed housing, following a public comment period and a preliminary determination published in May 2023.
