U.S. Department of Agriculture Adopts Inflation Adjustments for Civil Monetary Penalties in 2024

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule to adjust civil monetary penalties for non-compliance with its regulations, in accordance with the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015, which mandates annual inflation adjustments to these penalties starting in 2016.
