USDA Proposes Rule to Increase Watermelon Assessment Rate

The US Department of Agriculture has proposed a rule to increase the assessment rate for domestic watermelon producers and importers, from six cents to nine cents per hundredweight, as recommended by the National Watermelon Promotion Board.
