Superior National Forest Withdraws Draft Environmental Impact Statement for School Trust Land Exchange Project

The Superior National Forest in Minnesota is withdrawing its draft environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Superior National Forest School Trust Land Exchange Project due to issues that arose with the original exchange, following public comments and consultation with local Tribes. The State of Minnesota has also withdrawn its request for a land exchange, resulting in the cancellation of the draft EIS.
