Soybean Producers Reject Referendum on Soybean Promotion and Research Order

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Farm Service Agency County offices conducted a referendum on the Soybean Promotion and Research Order (Order) from May 6, 2024, to May 31, 2024, but failed to meet the required threshold of 10 percent of soybean producers to trigger a referendum, with only 229 producers participating and 207 submitting valid petitions.
