US Swine Health Improvement Plan Proposal

The US swine industry is requesting the creation of a voluntary livestock improvement program, US SHIP, to enhance biosecurity, traceability, and disease surveillance for swine health, with the goal of allowing participating sites to market their products with relevant certification status during outbreaks.
