NMFS Receives 17 Scientific Research Permit Applications for Endangered Species

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced the receipt of 17 scientific research permit applications for Pacific salmon, steelhead, green sturgeon, and eulachon, aiming to enhance knowledge of listed species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and inform management and conservation efforts.
