EPA Proposes Amendments to Risk Management Program Regulations Under the Clean Air Act to Improve Chemical Process Safety and Public Awareness

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to amend its Risk Management Program (RMP) regulations to enhance chemical process safety, improve emergency preparedness, and increase public awareness of chemical hazards. The proposed revisions aim to assist in planning, preparedness, and responding to RMP-reportable accidents.
