FMCSA Renewal of Exemptions for Individuals with Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has decided to renew exemptions for 18 individuals from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) regarding epilepsy and seizure disorders, allowing them to continue driving commercial vehicles in interstate commerce despite having had seizures and taking anti-seizure medication.
