EPA Extends Public Comment Period for Pebble Deposit Area Disposal Site Proposal

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 10 is extending the time requirement to consider public comments on its 2022 proposal to prohibit and restrict the use of certain waters in Southwest Alaska as disposal sites for the Pebble Deposit Area, as mandated by the Clean Water Act (CWA).
