FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Gulfstream Aircraft

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation Model GVII-G500 and GVII-G600 airplanes, following reports of two landing incidents where the alpha limiter engaged in unstable air, leading to high-rate of-descent landings and damage to the aircraft.
