FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 747 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address safety concerns related to high temperature composite trim air diffuser ducts (TADD) on Boeing 747 series airplanes, which may show signs of degradation and hot air leakage.
