Shell Granted Authorization to Take Marine Mammals in Gulf of Mexico

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has issued a Letter of Authorization (LOA) to Shell Offshore Inc. for the incidental take of marine mammals during geophysical surveys related to oil and gas activities in the Gulf of Mexico, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA).
