Cornell University Completes Inventory of Human Remains, Opens Transfer Process for Native American Tribes

The Department of Anthropology at Cornell University has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, determining a cultural affiliation with present-day Native American tribes, and is now accepting written requests from lineal descendants or representatives of unmentioned tribes to transfer control of the remains.
