FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for CFM International LEAP-1B Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain CFM International, S.A. (CFM) LEAP-1B model turbofan engines due to multiple in-flight shutdowns caused by inner radial drive shaft (RDS) failure, requiring inspections and replacement or rework of the affected components.
