Environmental Impact Statement for Oil and Gas Development Activities on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation, Utah

The Bureau of Indian Affairs, in partnership with the Ute Indian Tribe and other federal agencies, plans to gather information for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on proposed oil and gas development on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation in Utah. The proposed project involves drilling up to 4,899 wells over 15 years, with a 40-year project lifespan, and would include infrastructure development such as roads, pipelines, and power lines.
