Administration for Children and Families Proposes New Data Collection to Analyze Racial and Ethnic Disparities in TANF Policy Changes

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is seeking to collect data on how different racial and ethnic groups in one state experienced changes to Temporary Assistance for Needy Families policies and services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the goal of understanding the impact on TANF participants of various racial and ethnic backgrounds.
