National Park Service Approves Wetland Restoration Project on Santa Cruz Island
The National Park Service has approved a Record of Decision for the restoration of approximately 3 acres of coastal wetland on Santa Cruz Island, Channel Islands National Park, in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969. The restoration project will involve removing a berm, relocating a scale house, and controlling non-native species to reconnect a creek to its floodplain and protect archeological resources.
