FERC Proposes Reforms to Accounting Treatment of Renewable Energy Assets

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is issuing a notice of proposed rulemaking to update the Uniform System of Accounts for public utilities and licensees to include new accounts for renewable energy assets, energy storage, and hydrogen, and to codify the accounting treatment of renewable energy credits.
