Alaska Files Application for Recordable Disclaimer of Interest in Kuskokwim River Lands

The State of Alaska has submitted a request to the Bureau of Land Management for a disclaimer of interest from the federal government regarding submerged lands underlying the Kuskokwim River in southwestern Alaska, which it asserts were reserved to the state at the time of statehood in 1959.
