Environmental Protection Agency Finalizes Amendments to National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants at Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Boilers and Process Heaters

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized amendments to the national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) at major sources of industrial, commercial, and institutional boilers and process heaters, following a court-ordered remand and incorporating changes to numeric emission limits and the use of carbon monoxide as a surrogate for organic hazardous air pollutants.
