The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is temporarily closing public lands in Maricopa County, AZ, to prevent potential collisions during the Vulture Mine Off-Road Challenge OHV race event, authorized under a special recreation permit (SRP), as mandated by the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976.
