EPA Promulgates Federal Implementation Plan for Detroit Sulfur Dioxide Nonattainment Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing a Federal Implementation Plan (FIP) to help Michigan meet the 2010 sulfur dioxide primary national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) in the Detroit area, addressing elements such as attainment demonstration, reasonable further progress, and enforceable emission limitations.
