U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces Draft Safe Harbor Agreement and Environmental Assessment for Marbled Murrelet

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has released a draft safe harbor agreement and environmental assessment for the marbled murrelet in Washington, in response to a permit application from Weyerhaeuser Timber Holdings, Inc. for incidental take of the species during forest management on private lands.
