OSM Requests Approval for Information Collection on State Processes for Designating Areas Unsuitable for Surface Coal Mining Operations

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement is seeking approval from the Office of Management and Budget to collect information on state processes for designating areas that are not suitable for surface coal mining operations, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
