VA Amends Regulation on Delegated Authority to Settle Federal Tort Claims Act Administrative Tort Claims

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has amended its regulation governing delegated authority to settle administrative tort claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) to $500,000, and also increased the limit for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to settle non-medical malpractice claims to $5,000.
