FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Pratt & Whitney Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Pratt & Whitney (PW) turbofan engines, following an incident where an uncommanded dual engine shutdown resulted in compromised braking capability due to engine power loss and hydraulic system failure.
