SAMHSA Awards $47 Million to Expand 988 Lifeline Access

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) plans to award $47 million to Vibrant Emotional Health to enhance the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, focusing on expanding access to support services for high-risk populations, including LGBTQI+, American Indian/Alaska Native, and individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders, through the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.
