FMCSA Denies Small Business in Transportation Coalition's Request for Exemption on Driver Qualifications

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has denied the Small Business in Transportation Coalition's (SBTC) request to exempt motor carriers in the long-distance trucking industry from the requirement that drivers be able to read and speak English to communicate with the public and understand highway signs and signals.
