EPA Grants Tolerance Exemption to Eastman Chemical Company for Pesticide Chemical Formulation

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption to Eastman Chemical Company from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of a specific chemical compound in pesticides, allowing it to be used as an inert ingredient without establishing a maximum permissible level for residues on food or feed commodities.
