U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 12-Month Finding on Gunnison Sage-grouse Listing

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has determined that the Gunnison sage-grouse warrants listing as a threatened or endangered species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, but listing is currently precluded by higher priority actions, with a proposed rule to be developed in the future.
