EPA Exempts Nitric Acid from Tolerance Requirement for Pesticide Formulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of nitric acid, a pH adjuster used in pesticide formulations, when applied to crops and raw agricultural commodities, limited to 10% by weight.
