EPA Exempts Acetic Acid, 2-Ethylhexyl Ester from Tolerance Requirement in Pesticide Formulations
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of acetic acid, 2-ethylhexyl ester, in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops, allowing for use at a concentration not to exceed 50%. This exemption was granted after SciReg, Inc., on behalf of Solvay USA Inc., submitted a petition to the EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
