National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for North Cascades Ecosystem Grizzly Bear Restoration Plan

The National Park Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are jointly preparing an environmental impact statement to determine the best approach to restore grizzly bears to the North Cascades ecosystem, a portion of their historical range, due to their functional extirpation from the area.
