FAA Proposes Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Regional Jets

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier-made Regional Jet Series aircraft to address a potential safety issue with the bleed air leak detection system. The proposed directive would require testing and replacement of affected sensing elements and prohibit the installation of faulty parts.
