CDC Updates Opioid Prescribing Guidelines for Pain Management

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released updated guidelines for prescribing opioids for pain management in the United States, replacing the 2016 guidelines and providing evidence-based recommendations for clinicians caring for patients aged 18 and older with acute, subacute, or chronic pain.
