Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Security Zone in Corpus Christi Ship Channel

The US Coast Guard has created a 500-yard radius security zone to safeguard vessels carrying Certain Dangerous Cargoes (CDC) in the Corpus Christi Ship Channel and La Quinta Channel, following a request from the Captain of the Port Sector Corpus Christi to prevent terrorist acts and other potential threats.
